Middle School Advisory Program
Our Advisory program is an important part of the Middle School experience. Students are placed in small groups and assigned an adult in the building to serve as their advisor. Advisory groups meet once a week for a half hour, during which both group and individual work is completed. Some topics that are covered during advisory are:
- Goal setting
- Time management
- Service Learning
- Identifying personal strengths and areas for growth
- Academic progress
- Self-Advocacy
- Conflict resolution
- High School application process
The Advisory Program prepares our students to become strong, independent thinkers who are ready to face any challenge, both during their time here and beyond our walls.
