Kindergarten

Our Discoverers begin their Academy Hill journey by unearthing knowledge about the world around them. They are introduced to everyday skills necessary for learning in their first year at Academy Hill. They are also given the tools that will allow them to become fluent readers and creative thinkers. You will often see Discoverers working one on one with the teacher refining skills or as a group, using manipulatives in cooperative play. Together they learn to take risks and to care for each other. Above all, the Discoverers lay the foundation for the students they will become.
