Grades 3 & 4

The ExplorersExplorers share two homerooms filled with third and fourth graders. These students make the journey from "learning to read" to "reading to learn." Explorers delve into various subjects, they are taught to use critical, analytical, and application skills in order to help them formulate and answer probing questions. They learn organizational skills and maintain daily agendas to track homework assignments. Often you will see the teacher and a student in conference, discussing skills and work progress. Group work and centered activity is where the Explorers continue to investigate and discover.
