Grades 1 & 2

A Seeker studentSeekers, Academy Hill’s first and second grade students share two homerooms. In these two years, students undergo dramatic transformations in their reading and writing ability and develop a comfort with basic research and investigative thinking. They develop personal interests in content areas such as social studies and science. Our Seekers also cultivate a stronger self-identity and a deeper capacity to support one another. Our class size and structure allows for the individual or very small groups to work directly with the teacher while others may be developing some skills on their own.
