Academy Hill Graduates Its Twenty-First Class (June 2007)

Graduation is a community affair at Academy Hill. As we send our oldest students on to their next step, we celebrate the growth that happens at every grade level. Each class presents reflections on the year, the graduates offering substantial speeches. We also welcome a notable speaker. Last year Caldecott Award winning children’s author and illustrator, Mordicai Gerstein spoke and illustrated on the topic of powerful imaginations. Last year’s graduating class was much sought after by recruiters from elite high schools. The graduates are now continuing their studies at diverse institutions in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and even Kenya.
