French

Middle School students study Spanish or French for thirty minutes a day. Our specialists work with groups of four to eight students of similar proficiency. By eighth grade, classes are held in near-immersion and students are using second-year high school textbooks. Conventional work is balanced with cultural appreciation, long-term research and writing projects, and the enjoyment of short novels in the target language. Middle School students also assist with the creation of instructional materials and activities for Lower School students.
