The Good Morning Program

Every day in the Good Morning Program, the Lower School convenes to watch three students deliver three minute presentations on self-selected topics. A typical morning of presentations might include a Kindergartener introducing a family pet through stories and a homemade poster, a second grader starring in a simulated television cooking program, and a fourth grader sharing a PowerPoint presentation on the construction of the Taj Mahal.

Afterwards, students meet in their classrooms to discuss the presentations and offer the presenters constructive feedback. The Good Morning Program encourages intellectual community, builds research and speaking skills, and provides an opportunity to pursue and share interests. Academy Hill students are rightfully known for their poise and eloquence when speaking on stage--traits that grow directly from their Good Morning Program experience.
