Half-Time Middle School Humanities Teacher
Academy Hill is seeking to hire a half-time humanities teacher beginning in the fall of 2008. This teacher will teach one section of literacy and one section of social studies to a mixed group of seventh- and eighth- grade students. The curriculum is interdisciplinary and allows for collaboration with other teachers and classrooms. Qualified candidates for this position will possess strong writing skills, demonstrated intellectual interests, and the ability to inspire early adolescents. The position may be combined with the Latin Teacher position listed below.
Latin Teacher
Academy Hill is seeking to hire a part-time Latin teacher beginning in the fall of 2008. This teacher would teach one to two sections of middle school Latin equivalent to Latin I and II. The position may be combined with the half-time humanities position listed above.
Substitute Teacher
Academy Hill maintains a list of regular substitutes in case of planned or unplanned faculty absences.
